Adarsh Gartia and Mamali Nag will lead Odisha Boys and Girls teams respectively in the 47th Junior National Volleyball Championship, scheduled to be held at Aurobinda Stadium in Burdwan, West Bengal from 25 to 30 December 2021. Odisha Volleyball Association Genera Secretary Dr Gaganendu Dash announced the teams today.

First phase selection trials for the Oddisha teams, featuring a total of 240 boys and girls were held on December 12 at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. From the trials, 20 boys and 16 girls were chosen who attended coaching camp at same venue.

After completion of the coaching camp, 12 boys and 12 girls were selected to represent Odisha in the upcoming Junior National Championship. Odisha teams will be accompanied by six officials.

BOYS: Adarsh Gartia (Captain), Subrat Behera, Arshad Ali, Md Razza, Ashish Swain, Pabitra Behera, Shakti Ranjan Sahoo, Bikash Patra, Olly Ullah, Raj Kindo, Sidhanta Pradhan, Gyana Ranjan Mohapatra (Libero). Chief Coach: Ratnakar Patra, Assistant Coach: Ashutosh Patra, Manager: Gobindra Chandra Sahoo.

GIRLS: Mamali Nag (Captain), Parbati Gadaba, Asha Mundary, B Anisha, Snehamayee Kishan, Lashyamayee Mohanta, Sasmita Dehury, Basanti Majhi, Rosalin Andia, Payal Kandi, Suchismita Dinda, Sarojini Samal (Libero). Chief Coach: Shushama Nanda, Assistant Coach: Kalpashree Pradhan, Manager: Diya Mazumder.
