Odisha outfit Mangala Club beat Sudeva Delhi FC 5-3 in their opening Group-D match of the 1st AIFF-Hero Futsal Club Championship at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Arena in New Delhi today. Captain Dinabandhu Das was the star of the Mangala Club win with a hat-trick.

Das scored his three goals in the 4th, 10th and 37th minutes. Das completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot. Babul Kumar Rout netted the fourth goal for Mangala Club in the 23rd minute, while the second goal for the Cuttack side was a self goal by Lalramdinsanga Ralte of the Delhi team.

Phoenix Oinam struck twice (5th, 10th) and Thanglalsoun Gangte netted once for Sudeva Delhi FC. Mangala Club will next meet Real Kashmir FC on November 8. Mangala Club qualified for the National championship by virtue of winning the title in the Odisha State Inter-Club Futsal Tournament.
