Local favourites Rama Devi Women`s College beat Sailabala Women`s College, Cuttack, 25-5 in final to win the title in the Utkal University Women`s Inter-College Basketball Tournament here at Vani Vihar campus today.

Only five colleges participated in the day-long tournament. Other three teams were Kamala Nehru Women`s College (Bhubaneswar), Indira Gandhi Women`s College and Emarti Devi Women`s College (both Cuttack).

Earlier, BJB College emeged champions in men`s category, beating Maharishi College of Natural Law 62-44 in the all-Bhubaneswar final at Vani Vihar.
