Odisha trounced Assam by nine wickets in a league match of the East Zone Under-19 Women Limited Overs Cricket Tournament at Guwahati today. Chasing a modest target of 54, Odisha romped home in 22 overs, losing one wicket.

Among the notable performers for Odisha, Reemalaxmi Ekka bagged four wickets for 12 runs, while Pragyan Paramita Mohanty hit an unbeaten 32. This was the first win in three matches for Odisha, who earlier lost to Tripura by seven wickets. The second match of Odisha was washed out against Jharkhand. Odisha will play their last match against Bengal on October 18.
