Odisha bagged two silver and one bronze medals in the unequipped category of the Senior National Powerlifting Championship at Goa today. Pradip Kumar Patra and Sanjay Kumar Nayak secured the two silver in men`s 66kg and 105kg categories respectively, while Priyadarshini Bisoi claimed the bronze in women`s 63kg section.

According to Odisha Powerlifting Association secretary Chitta Ranjan Swain, Patra lifted 182.5kg in squat, 115kg in benchpress and 235kg in deadlift for a total of 532.5kg. Nayak`s efforts included 230kg in squat, 172.5kg in benchpress and 286kg in deadlift for a total of 688.5kg. Bisoi`s total lift of 310kg included 125kg in squat, 50kg in benchpress and 135kg in deadlift.
