  Subrat Das clinches State cuesports double

Hard-working Subrat Das clinched a glorious double, adding the senior snooker title to the senior billiards crown in the 16th State Billiards and Snooker Championship, which concluded at Cuesport Academy here today.

In the senion snooker final, top seed Subrat trounced giant-killer Satyadeep Das 5-0 (44-29, 60-51, 72-47, 56-39, 70-32).
 

The duo qualified to represent Orissa in the Senior National Snooker Championship to be held at Pune next month.

Billiards and Snooker Association of Orissa (BSAO) secretary Srimoy Kar, Cue Sport Academy president Premanshu Sekhar Patnaik and Akash Mahananda, Managing Direcor of sponsor Union Foods Private Limited handed over the trophies at the presentation function.
