The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has given temporary recognition to the newly constituted Football Association of Orissa (FAO) with Orissa Olympic Association (OOA) secretary Asirbad Behera as its convener. According to Behera, FAO was formed last year on September 2 in place of Orissa Football Association (OFA), which was struggling with a number of court cases. The AIFF, while giving temporary recognition, has asked FAO to conduct its elections within six months and lastest by July 31.
