The club`s major activities includes organising the Jagatpur Cup cricket tournament. In the 2007 edition of the tournament, which was conducted on Twenty20 format, was won by East Coast Railway. East Coast Railway beat Jobra Solar Club in the floodlit final by 55 runs at Nimpur ground in Jagatpur on today. The champion side received the top prize of Rs 15,000, while the runners-up were given Rs 10,000. |
